WHO ARE LEN AND LIZ?

It was a seven-year roller coaster ride: sponsoring the education one Nepali girl and then a boy; creating Jackets for Jasper; manufacturing and selling Nepali-made lightweight down jackets; suppling customized down jackets to a dozen ski teams and businesses; and growing over the years into an active home-based business that enabled us to meet our commitments to Resmi, Jasper and 12 additional children.

Now...

LENARD REID

With a B.Comm. and a career in the high-tech sector, Len's background in business, marketing and sales served Jackets for Jasper well. He is now consulting with start-up tech companies, helping them to grow their sales and prepare for acquisition.

Lenard caught the travel bug at an early age. He has had the good fortune (in addition to quitting his job 4 times) to have worked, travelled, biked and hiked in 50+ countries. You will usually find Len on his bike in search of uphill challenges and great pastries.

ELIZABETH LEBOE

With an M.Sc. in Geology and varied careers in applied earth sciences, community environmental education and municipal waste reduction, Liz never imagined creating and running a manufacturing and import company for charitable purposes.

Liz has always felt a pull to the mountains and wild places. Her choice of adventures are usually on foot, bike or kayak. In the spring, summer and fall, you will find Liz in the garden or in nature; in winter she will be hibernating with knitting needles or a book in hand.
